Version October 2026
This is an English translation of the Dutch terms and conditions. In case of any difference between the two, the Dutch version applies.
Part A applies to every assignment. Part B also applies to weddings, part C to business productions. In case of conflict, the quotation takes precedence, then part B or C, then part A.
1.1 Cece Creative Studio: the sole proprietorship Cece Creative Studio (also trading as Cece Creative Films), based in Uitgeest, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 93532148, user of these terms and conditions and contractor.
1.2 Client: the natural person or legal entity that enters into an agreement with Cece Creative Studio.
1.3 Consumer: a Client who is not acting in the course of a profession or business, such as a wedding couple.
1.4 Business Client: a Client who is acting in the course of a profession or business, such as a brand, entrepreneur, photographer or agency.
1.5 Agreement: any arrangement between Cece Creative Studio and the Client about the creation of audiovisual work or other creative services.
1.6 The Work: all final products created and delivered by Cece Creative Studio under the Agreement, including films, reels, Individual clips, stills and designs.
1.7 Individual clips: short fragments from the footage, separate from an edited film or reel.
1.8 Raw footage: all unedited recordings, including RAW and S-Log files, separate audio files and unselected footage.
1.9 In Writing: by email, WhatsApp or on paper.
1.10 Quotation: any offer made In Writing by Cece Creative Studio, including an offer described in an email or message.
2.1 These terms apply to all quotations, work and agreements of Cece Creative Studio, unless expressly agreed otherwise In Writing.
2.2 By accepting a quotation or order confirmation, the Client accepts these terms. Cece Creative Studio sends these terms with every quotation.
2.3 The Client's own general terms and conditions do not apply, unless Cece Creative Studio agrees to them In Writing.
3.1 Quotations are without obligation and valid for 14 days, unless stated otherwise in the quotation.
3.2 Prices for Consumers include VAT. Prices for Business Clients exclude VAT.
3.3 The quotation states what the assignment includes: number of hours on location, which final products, format, number of revision rounds and delivery time. Anything not stated in it is not part of the assignment.
3.4 If the Client changes the assignment, or if it becomes clear during production that more is needed than agreed, this counts as additional work. Additional work is discussed in advance and invoiced at the hourly rate in the quotation or, if there is none, the hourly rate Cece Creative Studio uses at that time.
3.5 The mileage allowance is € 0.30 per kilometre, calculated there and back from Uitgeest, unless the quotation states a different rate or a fixed amount.
3.6 Parking costs, tolls, ferry costs and other travel and accommodation costs are charged afterwards, unless they are included in the quotation. For assignments abroad, travel and accommodation costs are agreed in advance in the quotation.
3.7 The invoice is based on the accepted Quotation, plus anything agreed In Writing afterwards, such as extra items or additional work, and the travel costs under 3.5 and 3.6. The final amount may therefore differ from the Quotation.
4.1 Payment terms and deposits are set out in part B (weddings) and part C (business), unless the quotation states otherwise.
4.2 The Work is only delivered in its final form once all invoices for the assignment have been paid. As long as an invoice is outstanding, the Client may not download, publish or distribute the Work or previews of it.
4.3 If the Client does not pay on time, Cece Creative Studio will send a payment reminder with a term of 14 days. After that, the Client owes the statutory interest and reasonable collection costs.
4.4 If the Client uses the Work while an invoice is still outstanding, the licence under article 10 lapses until payment has been made in full.
5.1 The Client provides everything needed for the assignment in good time, such as a briefing, schedule for the day, access to the location, any permits and materials such as texts, logos, product information or images.
5.2 Delivery times only start once Cece Creative Studio has received all the necessary material from the Client.
5.3 If there is a delay or extra work because the Client fails to supply something, or supplies it too late, Cece Creative Studio may charge the extra costs as additional work.
5.4 The Client guarantees that material it supplies (such as music, logos or images) does not infringe the rights of others.
6.1 The Client consciously chooses the style of Cece Creative Studio. Cece Creative Studio is free to apply her own creative judgement during filming and editing, within the arrangements in the quotation and briefing.
6.2 Cece Creative Studio makes the selection of footage herself and decides which footage goes into the Work.
6.3 Raw footage is never delivered. The Client only purchases the finished Work.
7.1 Delivery times are an estimate, not a strict deadline. If a delivery time is likely to be exceeded, Cece Creative Studio will let the Client know as soon as possible.
7.2 The Work is delivered digitally via a download link. The Client must download the files within 30 days and keep its own backup.
8.1 After the first delivery (the draft version), the Client is entitled to the number of revision rounds stated in the quotation. If nothing is stated there, this is one revision round.
8.2 The Client gives all feedback at once and In Writing, within 14 days of the draft version. If Cece Creative Studio hears nothing within that period, the Work is considered approved.
8.3 A revision round is meant for small changes, such as swapping a shot or correcting a text. Major changes, such as a different storyline, different music or a new audio structure, are not included.
8.4 Extra revision rounds, major changes and feedback received after the deadline are possible for a fee. Cece Creative Studio will let the Client know the cost in advance.
9.1 It is not permitted to edit or alter the Work, including Individual clips, without prior written permission from Cece Creative Studio. This includes: making your own edits, shortening, adding filters or colour grading, adding text or music, and combining fragments with other material.
9.2 The only thing permitted without permission is what a platform technically needs in order to post the Work, such as a crop for a profile view, as long as the image itself does not change.
9.3 If the Client would like a different version, a different format or an adjustment, Cece Creative Studio is happy to make it, for a fee and insofar as the recorded footage allows.
10.1 The copyright in the Work and the Raw footage remains with Cece Creative Studio.
10.2 After payment in full, the Client receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Work as described in part B (weddings) or part C (business), or as stated in the quotation.
10.3 Any other use requires prior written permission and may involve an additional fee.
10.4 If the Client uses the Work outside the licence, Cece Creative Studio may charge a fee of at least three times the price she would have charged for that use, without prejudice to her right to full compensation.
11.1 Cece Creative Studio may use the Work, behind-the-scenes footage and reviews from the Client for her own promotion, such as her website, social media and portfolio, unless agreed otherwise In Writing in advance.
11.2 If a Business Client has a launch date or embargo, Cece Creative Studio will wait to publish until after that date, provided the Client communicates this In Writing before the shoot.
11.3 When the Work is published publicly, the Client credits Cece Creative Studio, on social media with the tag @cece.creativefilms.
12.1 Cece Creative Studio uses music in the Work for which a licence has been arranged that suits the agreed use.
12.2 If the Client adds music on a platform themselves, or asks for specific music, the Client is responsible for the rights to it. Please note: a lot of trending audio on social media may not be used by business accounts.
13.1 The Client makes sure that everyone who appears on camera (guests, models, staff, children and their parents) knows that filming is taking place and that the Work may be published online. For business productions, the Client arranges written permission (a quitclaim) from models and staff where needed.
13.2 If someone may not appear recognisably on camera, the Client reports this In Writing no later than 14 days before the filming day (for a booking at shorter notice: immediately upon acceptance), with a clear photo of that person.
13.3 Cece Creative Studio handles personal data with care and only uses it to carry out the assignment and for her administration.
14.1 Cece Creative Studio keeps the delivered Work and the Raw footage until 3 months after final delivery. After that, she may delete the files.
14.2 Cece Creative Studio is not liable for the loss of files after that period.
15.1 Cancelling or rescheduling is always done In Writing. The date on which Cece Creative Studio receives the message counts.
15.2 The cancellation costs and rescheduling rules are set out in part B (weddings) and part C (business). In addition, the Client pays any costs Cece Creative Studio has already incurred, such as non-refundable travel or accommodation costs.
15.3 In exceptional, serious circumstances, Cece Creative Studio will look for a reasonable solution together with the Client.
16.1 Cece Creative Studio is not liable if she cannot fulfil her obligations due to force majeure, such as acute serious illness, an accident, theft or failure of equipment, extreme weather conditions or government measures.
16.2 In the event of force majeure, Cece Creative Studio will do her utmost to arrange an equivalent, professional replacement with a comparable style from her network.
16.3 If that is not possible, the agreement is dissolved and the Client receives back the amounts already paid for the part that has not been carried out.
17.1 The Client reports complaints about the Work In Writing and with an explanation.
17.2 A Business Client reports complaints within 14 days of the (draft) delivery. A Consumer reports complaints within a reasonable period after discovering the defect; reporting within 2 months is always on time.
17.3 If a complaint is justified, Cece Creative Studio may repair or adjust the Work within a reasonable period.
17.4 A complaint about the creative style, the choice of footage or editing choices within the agreed assignment does not count as a defect.
17.5 A complaint does not suspend a Business Client's obligation to pay.
18.1 The assignment is a best-efforts obligation. Cece Creative Studio does her utmost, but cannot guarantee that every moment or shot will be captured.
18.2 The liability of Cece Creative Studio is limited to the amount the Client has paid for the assignment concerned.
18.3 Cece Creative Studio is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage or loss of profit.
18.4 These limitations do not apply in the case of intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of Cece Creative Studio, nor insofar as the law prohibits them for Consumers.
19.1 Dutch law applies to every agreement.
19.2 Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the district of North Holland (Noord-Holland), unless the law gives a Consumer the right to choose another court.
19.3 If a provision is void or is annulled, the other provisions remain in force. The parties will then replace that provision with a valid provision that comes as close as possible to its intention.
19.4 Cece Creative Studio may change these terms. For an ongoing agreement, the version sent with the quotation applies.
Part B applies in addition to part A to wedding films, including abroad.
B1.1 The wedding date is only confirmed after payment of a booking fee of € 500. This is deducted from the total amount.
B1.2 The Client pays the remaining amount no later than 30 days before the wedding day.
B1.3 For a booking made within 30 days of the wedding day, the Client pays the full amount immediately.
B1.4 By accepting, each partner of the wedding couple also accepts on behalf of the other. Guests are informed in accordance with article 13.
B2.1 If the Client cancels, the Client owes:
| Time of cancellation | Costs |
|---|---|
| More than 30 days before the wedding day | The booking fee of € 500 |
| Between 30 and 7 days before the wedding day | 60% of the total amount |
| Within 7 days before or on the wedding day | 80% of the total amount |
B2.2 Anything the Client has already paid in excess of these costs will be refunded.
B3.1 The wedding date can be rescheduled once free of charge, if Cece Creative Studio is available on the new date and that date falls within 12 months of the original date. The booking fee moves with it to the new date.
B3.2 Extra costs resulting from the rescheduling, such as a higher rate in high season, are discussed in advance.
B3.3 If Cece Creative Studio is not available on the new date and the Client cancels for that reason, B2 applies.
B4.1 No later than 14 days before the wedding day, the Client sends the schedule for the day and the contact details of a point of contact on the day itself.
B4.2 For an assignment of more than 6 hours, the Client provides a meal and drinks for Cece Creative Studio and any assistants, at a time when nothing important is being filmed.
B4.3 If the day runs late and the Client wants Cece Creative Studio to stay longer, every half hour or part thereof is invoiced at the hourly rate in the quotation.
B4.4 Cece Creative Studio is not liable for missed footage due to factors beyond her control, such as rain, strong wind, a schedule that is too tight, rules of the venue or the officiant, or guests who obstruct the filming. Drone footage always depends on weather, location and legislation.
B5.1 Cece Creative Studio aims to deliver the wedding film within 12 weeks of the wedding day. In high season (May through September) this may take longer; the Client will be informed in good time.
B6.1 The Client receives a licence for private use: watching, sharing with family and friends and posting on their own private social media, crediting @cece.creativefilms.
B6.2 The Client is not permitted to forward the Work or fragments of it to vendors, such as the wedding venue, wedding planner, florist or bridal shop, for their marketing.
B6.3 Vendors may only share or repost clips that Cece Creative Studio has published herself on their own social media, with a clear tag to @cece.creativefilms in the caption.
B6.4 For any other use by vendors, such as on their website or in paid advertising, they contact Cece Creative Studio themselves for a business licence (part C).
Part C applies in addition to part A to assignments from Business Clients: brands, entrepreneurs, photographers, agencies and other companies.
C1.1 For each package, the quotation describes what the Client receives, for example: hours on location, the number of reels and their length, format (such as vertical in 4K), number of revision rounds and delivery time.
C2.1 The assignment and the filming date are confirmed as soon as the Client has accepted the quotation In Writing. From that moment on, the cancellation costs under C3 apply, even if nothing has been paid yet. Cece Creative Studio sends the invoice immediately after acceptance. The Client pays within 14 days of the invoice date, but always no later than 2 working days before the filming day, unless the quotation states otherwise. If payment has not been made by then, Cece Creative Studio may postpone the filming day. In that case the cancellation costs remain due.
C2.2 Costs that only become known afterwards, such as additional work, overtime or parking costs, are invoiced afterwards with a payment term of 14 days.
C3.1 If the Client cancels, the Client owes:
| Time of cancellation | Costs |
|---|---|
| More than 14 days before the filming day | 25% of the total amount |
| Between 14 and 3 days before the filming day | 50% of the total amount |
| Within 3 days before or on the filming day | 100% of the total amount |
C3.2 The filming day can be rescheduled once free of charge if the Client communicates this no later than 7 days in advance and the new date falls within 3 months. Rescheduling later counts as a cancellation, unless Cece Creative Studio agrees.
C3.3 If an outdoor shoot depends on the weather, the parties consult about rescheduling up to 24 hours in advance. Rescheduling for that reason is free of charge.
C4.1 The Client arranges the location, permission from the owner and any permits, and informs Cece Creative Studio about parking and access.
C4.2 The Client arranges permission (quitclaims) from models, staff and other people who appear recognisably on camera, for the use stated in the licence.
C4.3 If the filming day runs late because of the Client or because of others than Cece Creative Studio, every half hour or part thereof is invoiced at the hourly rate in the quotation.
Individual footage is not delivered, unless agreed otherwise. If Individual clips have been agreed, they have been edited by Cece Creative Studio and the rules below apply to them.
C5.1 After payment in full, the Client may use the Work and the Individual clips indefinitely on its own channels.
C5.2 The following arrangements apply:
• The Work and the Individual clips are used as delivered. No edits of your own, filters or colour grading (see article 9). Using Individual clips in your own reel or edit, such as a BTS reel, is only allowed with prior permission (see article 9): the Client shows the version to Cece Creative Studio before posting.
• With every publication on social media, the Client tags @cece.creativefilms.
• No use in paid advertising or by third parties without prior consultation In Writing (see C6).
C5.3 For a fee, the Client can request an extra reel or a different format, insofar as the recorded footage allows. For example, if only vertical footage was shot at the Client's request, a horizontal version is not possible.
C6.1 Use beyond C5 requires an additional licence. For example: paid advertising (including "boosting" and use by influencers or creators on their channel as an advertisement), TV, cinema, print, outdoor advertising, trade fairs and use by other companies, such as retailers, distributors or partners.
C6.2 Cece Creative Studio agrees the price, duration and channels of that licence with the Client In Writing in advance.
C7.1 If a photographer or agency books Cece Creative Studio for a shoot of or for another brand (the end client), the photographer or agency is the Client. The Client pays the invoice, even if the end client does not pay.
C7.2 The Client may use the Work in accordance with C5, for its own channels. Using Individual clips in its own reel or edit is only allowed as set out in C5.2.
C7.3 The Client may share the Work with the end client. The end client may then also use the Work in accordance with C5, with the same arrangements: no edits of their own, always tag, and no advertising without consultation. If the end client wants more, they arrange an additional licence in accordance with C6.
C7.4 The Client makes sure the end client is aware of these arrangements and is liable if the end client does not comply with them.
C7.5 Cece Creative Studio may use the Work for her portfolio in accordance with article 11 and name the Client and the end client, unless an embargo has been agreed.
